Here is the outer side of the muffler mounts:

Here is the priming and painting step for the part of the mount that will be inside. I’m leaving the outside “natural” so that it can be preped and painted with the rest of the airplane.

Here it’s primed and painted, and the Lord mounts are installed.

Here is the other side. Note that I filed the edges so that they will “blend in” a bit better with the bottom of the airplane. The piece here is much thicker, but it’s not too funky looking.

Here it is installed with the torx screws.
