20 Apr 2006 Instrument Panel

Here’s the current view of my instrument panel design. The panel is out to get cut right now at http://www.experimentalair.com/ using their high tech water jet cutting machine.

I’ve got the GRT EFIS Sport http://www.grtavionics.com/, Garmin SL-40 radio http://www.garmin.com/products/sl40/ which I bought from Stark Avionics http://www.starkavionics.com/, Trio Avionics http://www.trioavionics.com/ autopilot and altitude hold, Flightcom 403 stereo intercom http://www.flightcom.net/, MT Propellor controller http://www.mt-propeller.com/, my home made annunciator panel (copied shamelessly from Paul Dye), GRT EIS 4000 engine monitor, and three analog instruments – Airspeed indicator, altimeter, and magnetic compass, all of which I bought from Stein Air. http://www.Steinair.com/ The standard toggle switches that I bought from Stein and B&C http://www.bandc.biz/ are protected by some Space Shuttle switch guards that I bought from Perihelion Design. http://www.periheliondesign.com/ I also have a rather klunky Narco AT155 transponder that I bought about 20 minutes before they announced a newer model. http://www.narco-avionics.com/
