The Creativair LED position light kit requires a bit of soldering to attach one board to the LED board. I’m a bit concerned that these things will come apart after I solder them together. The instructions recomend using some kind of clear epoxy to glue them together. Is this enough? Not sure.

Here is the little board that needs to be soldered to the LED board. These components are light, but are they attached firmly enough to not vibrate loose?

A test of the landing light. This is a 75 watt halogen light. Very hot.

Here is a shot of the landing light mounted in the frame, which attaches to the back of the LED board. Things get warm, but most of the heat goes straight out. I wonder if this thing will be too hot to run all the time. Perhaps with the wig-wag, the heat will be reduced enough to not melt anything.

This shot shows the pins poking through the LED board. I need to solder these pins to the board. The problem is I don’t know what would be the best position of the LED board.

Should I pull it tight this way for better contact to the LED board?

Or leave it vertical so that the little black plastic bar has the most contact with the LED board?

Will a filet of clear epoxy have enough strength to keep this board attached for the next 20 years or so? Will those two wires vibrate off? If so, how do I keep them on there? Help!
