The EI Commander monitors and can allow the pmags to be programmed. I originally set it to the following parameters.

RPM max:2816

ADV max: 33.6  (don’t use this value, see below, use 32.2)

ADV shf: -1.4

BillR said that 33.6° is a bit too aggressive, and recommended I reduce it by 1.4° which I did:

RPM max:2816

ADV max: 32.2

ADV shf: -1.4

Update 2021-11-25: These settings are working well. It’s hard to get a picture of the EIC in flight, so here is a screenshot from a short video clip. The timing does get to this highest value of 32.2° in cruise or other “lower” power settings.
