I got my pipes coated with ceramic by http://Jet-Hot.com. It seems like it turned out ok. It cost about $200. I guess I'll know how well it works after I get them installed, and fire up the engine. The goal is to reduce the amount of heat under the cowl. Jet-Hot coats them both inside and outside.
Notice the bung for the oxygen sensor - be sure to cover it up so that it does not get the ceramic coating on it. More information here: http://www.rv8.ch/article.php?story=20051229145121473
