Canopy Stop - Rear

FuselageTo keep the canopy from going too far back, some kind of stop is needed. I installed a scrap piece of delrin and installed it with a couple of screws. Turned out ok, and it's pretty solid.

A piece of round delrin, and two 8-32 countersunk torx screws.

I just drilled and tapped the delrin. No nuts. Delrin is pretty hard, plus the screws are only there to hold it in place. The delrin butts against the bulkhead. None of this will be visible, since the canopy skirt covers this area.

It's kind of embarassing that I can't drill two holes in a line. Oh well.
