Cowl gap near spinner

Just starting on the cowl, and there is a nasty gap between the cowl and the spinner.

Here is the right side with the pretty large gap.

Here is the left which shows the spinner and the cowl flush to overlapping.

Here is a picture of the large flat plate that forms part of the engine mount. It seems to be bent, which could be caused by the pallet being dropped during shipment. Perhaps this has changed the angle of the engine.

Here is another picture from the other side of the aluminum plate.
