Exhaust Pipe tubing thickness

I ordered some extensions from http://www.burnsstainless.com/ but the info on the thickness was wrong. Here are some pictures.

The pipe on the left is the one from Burns Stainless, and the right is the exhaust that came with the engine. I ordered 16 gauge (0.065") and I believe the exhaust is 18 gauge (0.049"). They are both 304 stainless steel.

Looks like I need to place another order. The problem is that shipping is more than the actual parts!
