The standard Van's elevator trim tab bracket does not allow the trim system to go full out without rubbing on the elevator skin. So, instead of cutting more on the elevator skin, I changed the bracket. Here are a couple of photos that show the new bracket up next to the old. Now I get a nice 20 degree up and down trim actuation. Seems very good.
