Eggenfellner Subaru Oil Filter

Thanks Dave, I would prefer a filter with a safety wire attachment. I've
been using a large hose clamp to safety the original filter, and I just can
not find the Proline PPL-14459 filter anywhere.

The K&N oil filter number is HP-1004.

It is a direct replacement for the Purolator L-14459.

The down side of the K&N is the cost, $9-10. But they are an excellent product and are $4-7 less than the filters for the Lycoming.
