Static and Pitot patching

   
InstrumentsThe OD of the static lines and the pitot line is about 0.25", and connecting them to each other is something that I didn't find mentioned in the Van's book. I've read somewhere that you can just use AN flared fittings for this, but I was looking for a simpler way.

I bought some "Tygon" tubing from Aircraft Spruce:
05-00945 FT 1/2"ODX3/8"ID TYGON B444X
for about 2 USD per foot. Looks like it is a nice, tight fit over both the static and pitot lines, so should do the job for me. Light and simple.
