I got an excellent template for a cover from Kelly Scott for the Showplance flap position switch (FPS). Looked like it was designed on a CAD station, and it fit perfectly. http://www.rv8.ch/files/FlapActuatorCover.pdf

Here are a few shots from various stages of installation. This is probably a bit of overkill for what it is, but I think it worked out pretty slick. I strongly recommend that you cut out the template using manila paper, or some kind of semi-thick paper to make sure the sizes are right for your installation. I found that increasing the normal size by about 10-15% made it work even better.
