Continued from the first article on installing the autopilot.Here are some more pictures of the Trio Avionics EZ Pilot autopilot installation. This is to clarify that the moment arm on the tab attached to the control column is long enough. The goal should be to have this arm at about the same length as the arm on the autopilot servo. I just measured the lengths of both, and the autopilot servo arm is about 1.75 inches, and the arm on the control tube is about 3 inches.
