EnginesQ: Is the 2.5XT the same as the STI engine?

A: STI is "Subaru Technica International" and it is the designation of all dual cam turbo engines including the WRX, the Forester XT and the Legacy GT, etc. They are internally identical but operate with different levels of boost to produce anywhere from 210-300HP.
